Repeated rows: remove them or keep them?
Last updated: 17 October 2026
When duplicates are mistakes and when they are real, and how the converter keeps you safe either way.
Two kinds of repeats
Some documents print a row twice by mistake, for example where a page break repeats the last line. Others contain genuinely identical rows: two purchases of the same item for the same amount on the same day.
The yes or no question
Answer Yes to leave out rows that are exactly the same as an earlier row, or No to keep every row. With Yes, nothing is silently lost: every removed row is listed on a "Removed rows" sheet with its page and the reason, so you can put it back if it was real.
