About PDF2Excel

PDF2Excel is a free tool that converts PDF tables - bank statements, invoices, reports and scanned documents - into clean Excel files.

It was built by Kanaparthi Adarsh, a student developer in India, after seeing how much time people lose retyping tables from PDFs and fixing copy-pasted data that comes out as text, in the wrong columns, or with the heading repeated on every page.

What we care about

• Privacy. Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded.
• Honest results. Every conversion is checked. When something does not add up, it is marked instead of hidden.
• Free to use. The site is supported by advertising. No sign-up, no watermark.

Open-source software we use

The table-finding and checking logic is our own. It relies on these open-source projects: pdf.js (Mozilla), Tesseract and Tesseract.js (OCR), Pyodide, NumPy, Pillow and openpyxl. We are grateful to their authors.
